The bar " The tavern of the Sirens " was created about a local belief that tells that long time ago the villagers were afraid of approaching by night to this place because the sirens of the lake usually showed up there and drown the bold ones that dare to try to see them.
The legend also tells that when the Castle was constructed, one day of big storm, oneof the youngest sirens got hurt between the beach rocks. She was rescued by a young farm guy that heard her laments and ran to help her out. The young siren fell in love with this man due to his bravery and nobility … love achieved its purpose … The young siren turned into a pretty woman little by little … Both, they decided to build in this place a small tavern to tell everybody their happy story, so men and sirens could live in peace forever at the edge of the great lake.
This small bar offers to our visitors the biggest variety of drinks on the region, and has up to 16 varieties of Belgian craft beers to seduce the lovers of these charming drinks.
